Anandham Vilayadum Veedu, starring Gautham Karthik in the lead, had hit the screens in December. Directed by Nandha Periyasamy, the movie stars Shivathmika Rajasekhar as its female lead, apart from an ensemble cast, including Cheran, Saravanan, Vignesh, Daniel Balaji, Rajendran, Singam Puli, Joe Malloori and Soundararaja.

The first look poster of the project was revealed earlier last year, offering a glimpse into the movie's genre and its cast and crew. Despite unconfirmed reports doing the rounds on the film's straight-to-OTT release, the makers decided to release it in theatres, and the movie finally hit the screens on December 24.

What's Anadham Vilayadum Veedu all about?

The film's story revolves around a big joint family in a village. The conflict begins when two half-brothers plan to build a big house with an intention to make life more comfortable to all the family members. However, a shrewd businessman interferes in their family affairs and creates a rift among the members.

The movie opened to negative response from critics upon its release because of the regular family template and outdated emotional sequences in it. Borra Bhalabharani has cranked the camera for the project which has editing by NB Srikanth. Siddhu Kumar has composed music for the film.
