Ammu teaser: Aishwarya Lekshmi is once again set for an emotional and gripping thriller

Ammu, the first Telugu original film produced by Prime Video, will make its world premiere on October 19. The film, written and directed by Charukesh Sekar, is a drama thriller that has renowned filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj as the Creative Producer, Kalyan Subramanian and Kaarthekeyen Santhanam of Stone Bench Films as producers, and Karthik Subbaraj as the Executive Producer. 

Ammu follows a woman's dramatic journey from being a victim of domestic abuse to resolving her internal issues, finding her inner power, and exacting the ultimate revenge on her controlling husband. In the film, Aishwarya Lekshmi co-stars with Simha and Naveen Chandra in the title role.

Top filmmakers like Karthik Subbaraj, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Kiranraj, and Tharun Bhascker gave the first look, and actors supporting Ammu's message of empowerment like Sai Pallavi, Manju Warrier, and Samyuktha Hegde disclosed the release date.
