Legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan turned 81 today (October 11). He celebrated his special day with his loved ones as well as his fans. The veteran actor greeted his sea of fans outside his Mumbai residence. The who's who of Bollywood wished Big B on his birthday. Shah Rukh Khan, too, dedicated a special post to Bollywood's Shahenshah.

SRK posted a cool picture with Amitabh Bachchan on his official X account. While sharing the photo, the superstar penned, "Tough runs don’t last….tough runners do. And Sir you are the toughest of them all. Last 30 yrs just being around u and breathing the same air as you….has been a blessing. Wish u the best on your birthday….keep running & inspiring us. Sir and that Gym of yours… is unbelievable. Love u! @SrBachchan (sic)."

Amitabh Bachchan's Kalki 2898 AD poster

A while ago, the makers of Kalki 2898 AD shared Big B's poster on social media. His fans were in for a special surprise by the makers. The team of Kalki 2898 AD dropped the poster on Instagram with a caption that read, "It's an honor to be part of your journey and witness your greatness. Happy Birthday @amitabhbachchan sir - Team Kalki2898AD (sic)."

On the work front for Shah Rukh

Meanwhile, SRK has been riding high on the success of his recent release Jawan. The film marked his first collaboration with filmmaker Atlee. The movie turned out to be the highest-grossing Hindi film in India. Jawan, also starring Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi, set and shattered several box office.

Next, the superstar has a cameo appearance in Salman Khan's Tiger 3. It is scheduled for a Diwali 2023 release. In December, SRK will be back with a film, Dunki. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the movie is likely to clash with Prabhas' Salaar at the box office.
