Actor Abhishek Bachchan made his acting debut in the year 2000 with J.P. Dutta's film Refugee alongside Kareena Kapoor. The film was inspired by the short story, 'Love Across the Salt Desert' written by Keki N Daruwalla. It was a hit amongst the audience as well as critics when it was released in theatres. As Refugee completed 24 years of its release on June 30, Abhishek's father and megastar Amitabh Bachchan shared a heartfelt note for his son.
