Amitabh Bachchan bids Kaun Banega Crorepati an emotional goodbye – watch his last message at KBC 15 grand finale

Amitabh Bachchan has said goodbye to Kaun Banega Crorepati, at least to this season of the show. The host of the show said a teary-eyed goodbye after season 15. He was heard saying so at the grand finale of the TV show which became synonymous with his voice. He bid goodbye to the show on Friday night.

What he said

Among the many things, Big B said, “Main Amitabh Bachchan, iss daur ke liye, iss manch se, aakhiri baar kehne ja raha hun, Shubhratri, Shubhratri, Shubhratri.” He reminded the viewers about how the stage will not be set from the next day. The legendary actor stated how it is tough to bid goodbye to own people. He was addressed as God’s favourite human being on the very show. A contestant passed the comment on him. While giving his speech, Amitabh Bachchan got teary-eyed.

How KBC 15 was different

Season 15 was different from the previous seasons of the TV show. Most seasons had three options – 50:50, phone a friend and audience poll. This time, the 50:50 lifeline got replaced. It was replaced by double dip. This means that the contestant would get two opportunities to guess the right answer. The other addition this season came in the form of super sandook. This is where the contestants get to attempt a rapid fire round.

Did anybody win Rs. 1 crore?

Yes, much like every season, there was a winner for Rs. 1 crore this season as well. This time, it was IAS aspirant Jaskaran Singh who took home Rs. 1 crore from the show.
