SonyTV's smash hit Kaun Banega Crorepati has a new promotional video. Soon, registration will begin for the 17th season of the show. Amitabh Bachchan will also be back on the hosting circuit.
In the promo, we see the megastar on the sofa, writhing in agony while a doctor examines him. Despite his assurances to the doctor that he refrained from eating any "chatar patar" outside, his stomach continues to ache. The doctor thinks it could be some kind of gossip making him sick to his stomach.
After some consideration, Bachchan reveals that signing up for KBC 17 will begin on April 14. Even though he claims to be in pain, he tells his admirers that he was only pretending.
The charming new promo and Bachchan's dynamic performance enchanted many. "This is absolutely fantastic," one person commented.
But some couldn't understand how the show could come back so fast. In February, the show's 16th season came to a close. Everything is starting over now that people have finished playing. A different individual asked, "How much KBC will you make us play… We just finished the last season!"
Someone mentioned that the same show returns every six months. Now that Indian Idol has concluded for the season, a new season will return in six months.
The registration period begins on April 14. Thereafter, the selection process will commence, and candidates' video packages will be ready. August is when you can expect to see the real season premiere.
Bachchan penned a personal blog post last year in which he said the show gives applicants a chance to express their stories while also offering a substantial cash award. They all experience a surge of emotions as the competitor in front of them shares their story, accompanied by innovative and captivating changes to the GAME, its influence, and the lessons they collectively acquire. The 82-year-old claimed that due to their awful circumstances and the amount of misery they have endured over the years, they are abruptly transported to this place on the "garam kursi" and are consumed by the intense emotions of the present.
With the exception of the third season in 2007, which was hosted by Shah Rukh Khan, the cinema legend has hosted KBC since its debut season in 2000.
