The incident occurred on Saturday at the CM's Lucknow residence when Rajinikanth arrived with his wife Latha to watch the special screening of his latest blockbuster Jailer .

In the 2018 movie, which was written and directed by Pa Ranjith, Rajinikanth's Kaala refuses to allow a young girl to touch his feet, emphasizing equality by requesting a simple "namaste." Rajinikanth took off to a spiritual retreat to the Himalayas on the eve of the release of his most-awaited movie Jailer.
