Sivakarthikeyan-starrer SK 21’s title has finally been revealed; it's now called Amaran . And the new teaser has everyone in awe. Sivakarthikeyan plays a officer Mukund Varadarajan in the biopic, who was a commissioned officer in the Indian Army's Rajput Regiment and was posthumously awarded the Ashok Chakra for his operation with the 44th Rashtriya Rifles battalion. The teaser shows Sivakarthikeyan as a fearless and valiant officer who leads a team on an anti-terrorism operation.

Netizens are stunned by the Ayalaan star’s physical transformation. Many have commented that Sivakarthikeyan has aced the body language and looks commanding as an army officer. They are already calling the film a blockbuster.

Kamal Haasan to have a cameo appearance in Amaran?

Directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, Amaran is a military action film that is backed by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International. Due to the Vikram actor’s involvement as producer, there are rumours that Kamal Haasan will make a cameo appearance in the film. However, a confirmation regarding the same is awaited. Besides Sivakarthikeyan, Sai Pallavi, Rahul Bose, and Lallu have important roles in the film.

Amaran is inspired by the book India’s Most Fearless: True Stories Of Modern Military Heroes

Amaran is reportedly inspired by the non-fiction book India’s Most Fearless: True Stories Of Modern Military Heroes, which is about the real-life challenges faced by Indian soldiers in the 2016 surgical strikes.

The music for the film is scored by GV Prakash. The camera has been cranked by Ch Sai, while R Kalaivanan is the editor. The film will be available for streaming on Netflix after its theatrical run. However, the theatrical release date has yet to be announced.
