Former Bigg Boss contestant and host Aman Verma is not pleased with the content of the reality show anymore. The actor and former host of Indian Idol recently opened up about the latest seasons of the Salman Khan-hosted show and why he rates the edition with Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill as its best.

Talking about the recent seasons of the hugely popular reality show, Aman said that Bigg Boss peaked almost three years ago during its 13th season, where Sidharth, Shehnaaz, Asim Riaz, Rashami Desai, Arti Singh and Paras Chhabra were the finalists.

“I feel the best Bigg Boss was the 13th season, where everyone had a different personality and it was interesting to watch,” he said, in a report quoted by Bollywoodlife. Aman also claimed that the past two seasons have been a letdown and he didn’t even follow the entire seasons.

The actor also said he had issues with how the contestant behave in the Bigg Boss House for the sake of entertainment and being on the show longer. “It seems to continue being a contestant, you have to either fight, shout or be in a love affair,” he said.

The latest season of Bigg Boss concluded in January 2022, with Tejasswi Prakash being declared as the winner while Pratik Sehajpal emerged runner-up. The show, which had Salman Khan as its host for the twelfth time, also presented a different experience for the viewers, with them having access to 24x7 footage. The show could have been streamed on Voot Select before it was telecast. Incidentally, Tejasswi and Karan Kundrra, who was also a contestant in the show, began their relationship on the show and are still going strong.

Meanwhile, Shehnaaz is set to make her Bollywood debut with Salman Khan-starrer Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali and will be paired opposite Jassie Gill in the film.
