Allu Arjun is at the peak of his career with Pushpa 2, one of the biggest hits in Indian cinema. The Sukumar-directed film has elevated Allu Arjun's popularity to an international level, and fans are eagerly awaiting his next project.
We at OTTplay have already reported that Allu Arjun is set to collaborate with Trivikram Srinivas for the fourth time on a mythological action drama. The pre-production of the film was progressing at a brisk pace, and reports suggested that Allu Arjun would portray Lord Karthikeya. However, according to recent updates, the project has hit a roadblock.

A source close to the production has revealed that extensive pre-production work is required, leading to a delay. As a result, the film has been postponed and will now go on floors in 2026. In the meantime, Allu Arjun has reportedly given the green signal to Atlee’s next film, which is set to begin shooting in June 2025.
This marks the first collaboration between Allu Arjun and Atlee. However, the project has yet to be officially announced due to ongoing negotiations regarding the remuneration of both the director and the actor. Despite these hurdles, Atlee’s film is confirmed to be Allu Arjun’s immediate next after Pushpa 2.
Atlee, who delivered the blockbuster Jawan with Shah Rukh Khan, took considerable time to finalize his next project. He also pitched a film to Salman Khan, but that project did not materialize. Instead, he has now locked Allu Arjun for his next venture.
Fans have expressed disappointment over the delay of Trivikram’s film, as every previous collaboration between the director and Allu Arjun has resulted in a blockbuster. The mythological action drama generated immense excitement, but with its postponement, fans will have to wait until 2026. Stay tuned for more updates.
