Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 is one of the most eagerly awaited films this year and is all set to hit theatre screens on August 15. A lengthy schedule began in Vizag and Allu Arjun got a rousing welcome from his fans the other day. The latest update is that Allu Arjun has taken a break from the shoot and is back in Hyderabad.
The word is that Allu Arjun has been unwell for the last few days and has taken some time off to recuperate from his illness. The shooting is, however, continuing as Sukumar is filming the rest of the scenes with the supporting cast of the film.
Rashmika Mandanna is also shooting for her scenes as per the news. A key action episode was supposed to be shot but as Allu Arjun fell ill, the shoot has been postponed. One of the sources close to the actor says that Allu Arjun will be back on the sets next week and resume the shoot.
The makers are racing against time to wrap up the shooting of the film. A chunk of the shoot is yet to be completed and as the film has some big stars, the dates of the actors have taken a toll on the shoot schedules. DSP has scored the music for this film, which also has Fahadh Faasil as the main villain.
Anasuya Bharadwaj and Sunil play other key roles in Pushpa 2. Janhvi Kapoor will be seen in a special song in Pushpa 2, which is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers on a budget of close to Rs 300 crore. Watch this space for more updates on this project.
