Allari Naresh, director Vijay Kanakamedala reunite for a new film after Naandhi; here’s all we know!

Allari Naresh, who’s made a firm departure from his conventional comic capers, revived his career with a gripping courtroom drama Naandhi last year. While he’s currently working on Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam, he’s set to reunite with his Naandhi director Vijay Kanakamedala for a film to be produced under Shine Screens.

Tentatively titled #NareshVijay2, the film was officially announced today. This will be the fifth production of Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi, the founders of Shine Screens after films like Krishnarjuna Yuddham, Majili, Gaali Sampath and Tuck Jagadish. The project is touted to be an action thriller, a genre that Naresh hasn’t explored in his career as much.

Vijay Kanakamedala and the makers say that this will be a new-age thriller where Naresh will be presented in an intense avatar. The shoot of the untitled film will commence Allari Naresh wraps up shooting for Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam. The film’s other cast and crew will be announced shortly. The pre-production work has already commenced.

A few months ago, there were reports that Vijay Kanakamedala would team up with Naga Chaitanya for a film though it appears that the project has been pushed for the timebeing. Shine Screens will also be bankrolling director Anil Ravipudi’s upcoming action entertainer with Balakrishna. Sreeleela would reportedly play Balakrishna’s daughter in the film.
