Alia Bhatt shares throwback pics, pens a heartfelt note for ‘pops’ Mahesh Bhatt on his birthday - ‘No one like you’

Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt received heartfelt birthday wishes on his 76th birthday from his family. The seasoned director turned a year older on September 20. On the special occasion, his wife Soni Razdan and daughters Alia and Shaheen Bhatt penned special notes on social media, along with throwback pictures. A while ago, Mahesh Bhatt’s beloved and youngest daughter Alia Bhatt shared a beautiful birthday wish for her pop and cheered him for always being present in her life.

Alia Bhatt shares birthday post for Mahesh Bhatt

Bollywood diva Alia Bhatt shared a sweet post for her father Mahesh Bhatt. Taking to Instagram, the Raazi actress dropped a carousel post with two throwback pictures and a blissful caption. Reflecting on the significance of her father’s presence in her life, Alia praised his efforts for always showing up when she needed him.

“Sometimes all you gotta do in life is show up .. you always did and always do,” Alia wrote in the caption along with a sun emoji.

The first picture in the post takes us on a nostalgia trip as it is from Alia’s Mehendi ceremony in 2022. In the black and white photo, Alia is getting her henna done, and her doting father is looking at her with love and care. The following picture captures the father-daughter duo taking a nap.

“Happy birthday pops/g-pa, there’s no one like you,” Alia added in her caption.

On the work front, Alia Bhatt is currently busy in her upcoming film Jigra which features her as a doting sister.

Soni Razdan and Shaheen Bhatt’s social media posts

Mahesh Bhatt’s wife and actor Soni Razdan also dropped beautiful throwback pictures on social media. Taking to Instagram, she showered love on the director and confessed to never imagining her life without him.

The lovely note is accompanied by throwback pictures to celebrate his journey in the entertainment industry. “From the boy I never knew to the gorgeous man I do …. Happy Birthday sweetheart. I wish you many more … can’t imagine life without you in it”.

Meanwhile, his daughter Shaheen called Bhatt ‘her favourite person’ and penned, “Happy Birthday buddy boy. You’re my favourite person and you make everything better”.
