It seems that new mother Alia Bhatt is living in maternal and matrimonial bliss. Alia, who features on the cover of the latest edition of Vogue, got candid with the magazine in an interview.
Speaking about motherhood and the splitting of parental duties between her and husband Ranbir Kapoor, Alia said that Ranbir dotes on their daughter Raha and that he is a hands-on father.
Noting that Ranbir has always been supportive, loyal, and sensitive, Alia said that the Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar star has become even more sensitive after the birth of their daughter.
Alia added that it's "adorable" to watch Ranbir and Raha together. She said that Ranbir, who has bulked up considerably for his next, Animal, looks like a giant when he carries "a little puppy," Raha.
The Gangubai actor went on to speak about how Ranbir is a hands-on father, so much so that she finds it difficult to hold Raha for a second. "He's got unique ways of hanging out with Raha: he likes to sit with her in front of the window where the breeze comes in and make sure she spends a good amount of time looking at a big green plant there. He thinks of her as this earthly sprite," said Alia in the interview.
During the promotions of Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar, Ranbir had said that it was heartbreaking for him to leave Raha at home while he was away at work. Alia has now revealed that Ranbir is nervous that Raha will forget him when he's travelling.
Alia will next be seen in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani alongside Ranveer Singh, while Ranbir's next is Animal, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol.
