In January, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali revealed through a press statement that he plans to helm his next multi-starrer project titled Love and War. The film is expected to feature Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal in prominent roles. Both Vicky and Alia took to their social media platforms to share the announcement, accompanied by a slate bearing the signatures of all three lead actors. The genre and details of the film featuring the three stars are not yet officially disclosed, besides terming it an epic drama. While we don't know much about the film, here is what Alia Bhatt has to say about it today.

Alia Bhatt speaks a sentence about Love and War

In an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, Alia Bhatt candidly discussed her highly anticipated upcoming project, Love and War. When questioned about her level of excitement regarding the film and the widely discussed casting choices, Alia said, “There's a lot to say, and since we don't have time, so all we can say right now is that Poacher releases on 23rd February."

The much-anticipated Ranbir-Alia-Vicky starrer is set to commence filming in a few months, with a scheduled release date of Christmas 2025. This film marks the first collaboration between filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali (SLB) and Ranbir Kapoor since Saawariya, the actor’s debut film in 2007. Notably, Ranbir had previously assisted Bhansali in the making of the Rani Mukerji and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Black (2005). Additionally, it will be the inaugural partnership between SLB and Vicky Kaushal, and the second for Alia Bhatt following their collaboration on Gangubai Kathiawadi (2022), which earned her a National Award in 2023. Moreover, this project signifies the first on-screen pairing of Ranbir and Alia since their marriage in 2022.
