Alia Bhatt dazzles in a sunny, yellow saree for her ‘yaar ki shaadi,’ her unique hairstyle also attracts attention.

Alia Bhatt needs no introduction. The young National Award recipient has won hearts all over the world, with her acting chops and dimpled smile. Well, the magic strikes again! The Rocky Rani Kii Prem Kahaani star has imbued warmth and mellow sunshine into the wintry December 15, by donning a resplendent saree for the occasion of her friend’s wedding.

On December 13, she had been last spotted rushing off to her buddy’s mehendi celebration. Alia Bhatt took to Instagram a while ago to share snaps of her wedding season attire, and it's nothing short of couture magic. With a cute pun, “Yellow there,” the actress captioned the photo.

Alia opted for a mellow shade of yellow for her saree, which was embroidered with tiny birds at the edges. Her blouse had a deceptively-plunging sweetheart neckline that was modest yet modern at the same time. The pallu, or the portion of cloth which hangs freely over the left arm and shoulder, was scattered with thread work, featuring tiny leaves and flowers.

The actress did not overdress, by donning a signature pearl-and green sapphire choker, along with matching earrings. For makeup, the Jigra star did not wish to go overboard, and kept it minimal by going for dewy skin, soft, bronzy eyes, and glossy lips. As for her nails, they were classy and French-tipped for the occasion.

The intriguing part about her outfit, however, was her hairstyle. At the front, her hairstyle was parted in the middle and lightly pulled back. At the back, the actress pulled her hair into two tight plaits, and chose to use a yellow ribbon to create a unique, braided updo.

The traditional yet trendy attire of the actress garnered a lot of love from celebs and fans alike, with mother Soni Razdan commenting, “What a beauts,” while Bhumi Pednekar went straight to the point, “Stunning.”
