Ali Fazal expressed his gratefulness to his Khufiya director Vishal Bhardwaj in a new post. The actor also shared a happy picture with the filmmaker.

Ali Fazal and Vishal Bhardwaj worked together on one film, Khufiya. It also starrer Tabu in a key role. The film received great recognition from fans for its gripping storylines and the actors' powerful performances. Today, August 24, Ali took to his social media account and penned a special appreciation post for the filmmaker to express his gratitude.
A while ago, Ali Fazal shared two pictures on his Instagram handle. The first image shows the actor hugging the filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj with a bright smile, while the second picture captures the actor from a film set. Sharing the snaps, the Mirzapur actor wrote , "To Sir with love! @vishalrbhardwaj. I have seldom felt moved by direction on a film set. And i will forever be grateful to this man for showing me light. We’ve barely explored cinema together, i only hope my paths keeping crossing ever so more with your vision."
He further added, "Just thought of something you had said to me on set before a scene one day. And it came in handy today while am on another set filming.."

Khufiya follows an operative of the Indian spy agency known as R&AW. It is assigned to track down a mole who is selling defense secrets while grappling with her dual identity as a spy and a lover. Tabu played the role of Krishna Mehra while Ali was Ravi Mohan. The film is available on Netflix.
The actor recently embarked on a new journey as he and his wife Richa Chadha embraced parenthood for the first time. The new parents welcomed their baby girl. The couple dropped a glimpse of their newborn on social media account and received immense love from everyone.
Following the success of Mirzapur Season 3, Ali Fazal is all set to join the upcoming period fantasy thriller, Rakht Brahmand, helmed by Raj & DK and directed by Rahi Anil Barve of Tumbbad fame.
"Ali will be shooting for the series through August while also completing small schedules of his other projects. The show can to him and the vision of the show was enough to get Ali excited to be part of the series. It’s a really interesting part, something he has never done before both from character perspective and also genre-wise,” the source further added.
