Bollywood's one of the sweetest couples, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal, embraced parenthood for the first time as they welcomed their first baby, a daughter on July 16, 2024. Now, in a new interview, the couple finally revealed the name of their daughter three months after her birth.

During an interview with Vogue, Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha revealed that they have named their daughter Zuneyra Ida Fazal. They opened up about parenthood and revealed the name of their little munchkin.
Ali Fazal said, "Having a baby fills a void that you weren't even aware existed. That part never ceases to amaze me. It's freakin' hard to work now. I have serious anxiety when I leave home because I just want to see my baby Zuneyra all the time and be around Richa and her."
Richa Chadha-Ali Fazal announce birth of their baby girl
In a joint statement shared on July 16, the couple wrote on their Instagram accounts that they are tickled pink with joy to announce the arrival of a healthy baby girl on 16.07.24.
They also added that their families are overjoyed, and they thank their well-wishers for their love and blessings.
Sharing the first glimpse of their little one on Instagram, the new parents wrote, "Doing a collab post to announce the biggest collab of our lives!! We've been blessed indeed. Our baby girl continues to keep us very very busy. So, Thank you all for your love and blessings."
For the unversed, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal tied the knot during the lockdown in 2020 under the Special Marriage Act. They hosted haldi and sangeet ceremonies later in Delhi and a reception in Mumbai in 2022.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Richa Chadha was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Heeramandi. Ali Fazal was seen in Mirzapur 3. The next installment of the Mirzapur series, titled Mirzapur The Film will be released in theaters in 2026. Apart from Ali, Pankaj Tripathi, Divyenndu, and Abhishek Banerjee will be seen creating magic with their acting skills.
