Alexandra Taylor debuted in the Bengali film industry with Ankush in Ogo Bideshini last year. Directed by Anshuman Pratyush, the film also features Ranjandini Paul, Manasi Sinha, and others. Alexandra intended to stay in Kolkata and work more in the Bengali industry. Within a few months, she managed to bag a few more roles, including one in Dev’s Bagha Jatin and Raj Chakrabarty’s debut web series, Abar Proloy.
Alexandra took to her social media and thanked Dev and others for casting her in Bagha Jatin. “I can finally announce that I am in Bagha Jatin. Thank you @imdevadhikari for giving me the amazing opportunity to be a part of this super special movie,” she captioned, adding, “It’s been a pleasure acting with this amazing team and I’m so excited for what the future holds.”
Meanwhile, Alexandra has also worked in Abar Proloy. Talking about Raj, she said, “I have been learning Bengali and that is coming to use. I speak Bengali in the series. Raj gave all the instructions in Bengali. He was helping me learn.- He is such a lovely person and a great director.”
The actress also mentioned that she is impressed with the way Dev’s production house manages the shooting. “The way they handle everything is incredible. Dev is cheeky, friendly, and warm. It is an absolute honour to work with Arun Roy. There are action sequences and he is extremely nice and caring,” she said.
Alexandra is in love with Kolkata and she intends to work more in this city. “I worked in the Hindi and Telugu language and I have been to other cities in India. Nothing is like Kolkata,” she admitted.
