The much-awaited trailer of the Akshay Kumar starrer Prithviraj is finally here. The historical drama movie also marks the debut of the winner of the Miss World 2017 pageant, Manushi Chhillar. The latest video stormed the internet with netizens' feedback and also inspired a meme-fest on Twitter. The movie buffs have also been comparing Akshay's Prithviraj avatar to his Bala from Houseful 4.

A netizen made a meme as he compared Tamil actor Vadivelu's character from Imsai Arasan 23 M Pulikesi to Akshay's look from Prithviraj and it actually looks hilarious.

One of the Twitterati mentioned that it's impossible to see him on screen and not laugh. The post reads, "Serious role mai bhi jo hasa de wo @akshaykumar #PrithvirajTeaser is not up to the mark feels like maharaja Bala from housefull 4 is back again #YRF50 (sic)."

A movie buff compared Hrithik's Akbar look from Jodha Akbar to Akshay's Prithviraj and mocked the latter. The tweet reads, "Bollywood is always known for glorifying Mughals and Disrespecting Indian Warriors Same Thing Happened Again in #PrithvirajTeaser Bollywood's cast (sic)."

Meanwhile, another movie buff remembered Akshay Kumar's look as Bala from Houseful 4 and mentioned, "It's more like Baala from housefull 4 but with hairs....#PrithvirajTeaser (sic)."

One of the Twitter users also compared the Tashan actor with Salman Khan and called Akshay a 'sasta courier.'

Meanwhile, a lot of moviegoers loved the trailer of the upcoming movie as well as the cast and the characters in the film.

One of the tweets reads, "Loved #PrithvirajTrailer fully... We can see scale of the movie in trailer and that statue scene will get so much cheer in theaters... In last scene #AkshayKumar sir shooting arrow at haters lol what a transformation and look boss!! Jai ho Samrat #Prithviraj ji ki (Sic)."

Apart from Akshay and Manushi, the epic historical drama also stars Sanjay Dutt and Sonu Sood. The Chandraprakash Dwivedi directorial is all set to hit the theatres on June 3.
