Although the viral picture appears to be from Bhooth Bangla, many believe it might be his look from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4 instead. What made netizens think so, and is it really Bhooth Bangla or is it actually Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4? For the uninitiated, Akshay has not appeared in the franchise since the original film.

Why do fans think it is a photo from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4 instead?

Akshay Kumar's leaked picture from Bhooth Bangla sets resembles Chote Pandit from Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise. Of course, the character is immortalized by Rajpal Yadav and is completely different, but fans saw some resemblance. Interestingly, Akshay has not been a part of Bhool Bhulaiyaa since the original film, for Kartik Aaryan replaced him as Rooh Baba in the other two installments.

While many were reminded of Bhool Bhulaiyaa, others also remembered Akshay's character in Dishoom through the very look.

Akshay Kumar-Priyadarshan return with Hera Pheri 3 too

Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan will also be reuniting for Hera Pheri 3. Although the movie almost went on floors, it took the Bhooth Bangla collaboration for Priyadarshan to confirm that he would return to directing Hera Pheri 3 as well. Of course, it features the OG trio of Raju (Akshay), Babu Bhaiya (Paresh Rawal) and Shyam (Suniel Shetty). Tabu as well as Gulshan Grover will be returning to the franchise, too. Of course, the movie will take off only after Akshay and Priyadarshan wrap up Bhooth Bangla. This means that Hera Pheri 3 will take some more time before going on floors.
