The release date set of Akshay Kumar starrer Bell Bottom is fast approaching yet there is no sign of theatres re-opening at full capacity anytime soon. What will this mean for the film is a question that Akshay or the makers are yet to officially answer but wind in the distributor circuit according to reports is that the release date of the film might be pushed yet again.

Bell Bottom makers were the first to announce the theatrical release of the movie on July 27 after the restrictions eased as the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic slowed down. According to a Time Of India report, chances are the Bell Bottom could be delayed to released on August 13 while people in the trade circles believe that there slim chances of an August release.

A source close to the film tells the publication that no decision about Bell Bottom has been taken yet as the fate of theatres still remains uncertain. What is seemingly certain is that the makers want to release in the film in theatres alone. The espionage thriller has been pushed its release from April to May and then to July in the past but like many other projects it is now difficult to say when the movie might get greet the audiences.
