Akshay Kumar’s Bachchan Pandey gets Holi release date and new poster

Akshay Kumar led the way as movies returned to theaters following the pandemic with the release of his thriller Bell Bottom. The star will next take the lead in Bachchan Pandey, and has now shared some exciting news for the fans.

Kumar released a new poster for the movie and also revealed an official release date for the movie. Farhad Samji's Bachchan Pandey is set to hit theaters on March 18, 2022, giving the audience a movie to celebrate Holi. 

The star also shared a poster through his social media handles, confirming that the movie will have action, comedy, romance and drama and will be a Holi treat for the fans. The poster features Kumar in his avatar for the movie and sporting a bull blown beard and shades. Also wearing a lot of jewelry, he seems to be carrying a sack full of weapons including a gun. 

Directed by Farhad Samji, the action comedy is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. Apart from Kumar, the movie also stars Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, and Pankaj Tripathi. 

While a number of big names such as RRR and Jersey have postponed their release due to the increasing number of new COVID cases, the Akshay Kumar starrer has set a March release date to the excitement of the fans. 

Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi was a massive hit in 2021, and was a major reason for bringing fans back to the theaters despite the reviews not doing the movie any favors. 

Kumar, who is a very busy star, is also working on a number of movies such as Prithviraj, Raksha Bandhan, Ram Setu, OMG 2 and Gorkha.
