Today is a highly auspicious occasion for Hindus globally. Today, the consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya will take place, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi participating in the rituals. Following the ceremony, the shrine will be open to the public starting tomorrow. Among the extensive list of approximately 8,000 invitees, a distinguished group of 506 A-listers, including notable politicians, prominent industrialists, leading film stars, accomplished sportspersons, diplomats, judges, and high priests, will be present.

This consecration marks the culmination of the first phase of the temple's construction, made possible by a 2019 Supreme Court judgment on the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid title suit. The Hindu litigants contended that the Babri Mosque was erected at the location of a temple that signified the birthplace of Lord Ram.

In a recorded video message today, Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff greeted the people of India on the “Pran Pratishtha” ceremony, which would mark the c onsecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. Akshay Kumar said, “Namaskar. I am Akshay Kumar along with my friend Tiger Shroff. Together, we greet you all with the mantra Jai Shri Ram. Today is an auspicious occasion for the followers of Lord Rama. After hundreds of years, our God would come back to his home.”

Tiger Shroff added, “We dreamed of this occasion for plenty of years. I am glad and honoured that we all will witness the grand occasion. Let us all light diyas in our homes and celebrate the occasion for Lord Rama.”

Soon after the recorded message by these popular stars surfaced online, loads of social media users chanted Jai Shri Ram in the comments section.
