Aarush played the role of Pankaj Tripathi’s son in OMG 2

Aarush Verma made his Bollywood debut with Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2. The actor revealed that Akshay once said that the young actor deserves an international award for his work in the movie. The actor called Aarush the heart and soul of the film.
“He told my parents, ‘He is the soul of the film, he is the heart of the film. He has done so well, he deserves international awards for his work,” Aarush revealed to India Today.
Akshay had finalized Aarush for the movie. However, Aarush did not meet Akshay till the final leg of the film. They met for 2-3 weeks and Aarush shared that Akshay noted his name and addressed him with it. Aarush called it a fun experience shooting with Akshay, even if their scenes were briefer.
The superstar had hosted a dinner party for the cast and crew of the film. Aarush found that as one of the special moments of his life.
Aarush called Pankaj Tripathi his idol and constant inspiration. He revealed that he was a fan of Pankaj Tripathi since age 4. This is because of their Bihari connection. He further went on to reveal that Pankaj folded his hands and bowed down to his parents when they met.
OMG 2 is the sequel to the OMG: Oh My God, featuring Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar. OMG 2 released in theatres on August 11 with Sunny Deol-Ameesha Patel’s Gadar 2.
