Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is one of the busiest actors in the industry. The actor was recently seen in the film Sarfira and is now preparing for the release of his upcoming film, Khel Khel Mein. The actor was recently asked about doing films so quickly and back to back despite some of them being a box office dud. The actor has now addressed the same. Read on to know what he has to say!
Akshay Kumar claps back at trolls
In a recent conversation when Akshay Kumar was speaking to the Mamaearth Founder Gazhal Alagh, he said, "Mujhe kehte hain ye chaar film kyu karta hai saal mein… isko ek film karni chahiye… chalo main ek picture kar leta hu baaki din kya karunga? Tere ghar mein aaun? (They tell me why do you do 4 films a year, you should only do 1, even if I do that, what do I do for the rest of the year? Should I come sit at your home?)
"Beta, yaad rakhna lucky are those people who get work. Yahan roz koi na koi bolta hai berozgaari chal rahi hai ye chal raha hai wo chal raha hai… jisko kaam mil raha hai usko toh karne do," he added. (Remember that lucky are those people who get work. Every day there is someone who says that unemployment is going on, this is going on, that is going on… who is getting help then you should do it.)
Akshay Kumar's projects
After Sarfira, Khiladi Kumar is all set for his upcoming release, Khel Khel Mein. The film also stars Vaani Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, Aditya Seal, Fardeen Khan, aong others. The film is all set to release in theatres on August 15 clashing with two other films - Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer Stree 2 and John Abraham and Sharvari starrer Vedaa.
