However, no one could have anticipated that the next piece of news would bring trouble to the project, which is now on the floor and in production. According to the latest reports, the movie has encountered a problem as a complaint has been filed against it, accusing it of tarnishing the image of the judicial system. Complaint Filed Against Jolly LLB 3
For the uninitiated, the complaint, as reported by NBT, has been filed by District Bar Association President Chandrabhan Singh Rathod, who feels that the movie will tarnish judicial dignity. The complaint has been filed against the actors Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi, the director, and the producers of Jolly LLB. The hearing is scheduled to take place today. Chandrabhan has requested the court to order the makers to stop the shooting of the film, arguing that the first two movies in the franchise have mocked the judicial system.
According to the same portal, District Bar Association President Chandrabhan Singh Rathod said, "This decision has been taken considering the first and second parts of Jolly LLB. It seems that the filmmakers, directors, and actors do not respect the dignity and prestige of the judiciary of the country's Constitution at all. The shooting of Jolly LLB 3 is going on in the surrounding villages and areas, including the DRM office of Ajmer, which will continue for several days. Even during the shooting of this film, the actors do not seem to be at all serious about the image, prestige, and dignity of the judiciary, including the judges."
Chandrabhan also stated that the portrayal of lawyers and judges during the filming appears inappropriate and contrary to how it is in the real world. He blamed Jolly LLB for undermining the judiciary’s reputation and the dignity of legal professionals with a depiction that is indecent and humorous. He wants the filmmakers and team to ensure that they consider this during the making of the film.
