Bollywood’s Khiladi Akshay Kumar has been extremely busy gearing up for his upcoming film Bell Bottom, which is all set to hit theatres on 19th August. Co-starring Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta and Huma Qureshi, the spy thriller has been helmed by Ranjit M Tewari. Well, it was recently reported that after his smooth journey in Bell Bottom, Akshay is joining hands once again with the director for his next film. Buzz suggested that the film is a remake of Tamil psychological thriller Ratsasan and will also feature Rakul Preet Singh.
Earlier reports also suggested that the film is being called Mission Cinderella. Well, Akshay has now confirmed that the title of his next film with Tewari is Cinderella, not Mission Cinderella. In a chat with Peeping Moon, the superstar was quoted saying, “I always wanted to do a psycho-thriller. I’m doing it now, I’m going to shoot, it’s called Cinderella. Ranjit Tewari is directing it. Going to London as it’s opened, so will shoot there.”
He shared that it is a psycho-thriller and he can’t reveal anything more, before adding, “I can only say this much that I am not the Cinderella.” The film will be like a reunion for Akshay, director Ranjit M Tewari and producers Jackky and Vashu Bhagnani, who have also backed Bell Bottom.
