Ajith Kumar to romance Nayanthara in Good Bad Ugly? Here's what we know

Good Bad Ugly, the highly anticipated Ajith Kumar starrer directed by young filmmaker Adhik Ravichandran, started rolling in Hyderabad this month. Recently, the makers of the highly anticipated action-thriller revealed the promising Good Bad Ugly first look poster, featuring leading man Ajith on social media. Notably, the team has not revealed anything about the rest of the star cast of the project so far. However, the recent updates suggest that Nayanthara might join the project as the leading lady.

Nayanthara joins Ajith Kumar’s Good Bad Ugly?

Reportedly, Nayanthara, the lady superstar of South cinema, is reportedly set to join the star cast of Good Bady Ugly. The grapevine suggests that the popular actress is appearing as Ajith Kumar’s pair in the Adhik Ravichandran directorial, which is currently under production. However, the makers of the mass action thriller have not officially announced their collaboration with Nayanthara yet. An official update on the same is expected to be revealed very soon. In that case, Good Bad Ugly will mark the lady superstar’s fifth onscreen collaboration with Ajith Kumar, after Billa, Aegan, Arrambam, and Viswasam.

Good Bad Ugly to feature three female leads?

As per the reports, Adhik Ravichandran is expected to feature three female leads. While Nayanthara is expected to appear as Ajith Kumar’s pair in the film, a pivotal role will be played by another senior actress, who was a highly popular heroine of Tamil cinema in the 1990s. A promising young actress is reportedly roped in to appear as the third female lead in the movie. The rumour mills also suggest that Good Bad Ugly is will not be a complete Ajith Kumar one-man show but will feature three young actors in equally important roles.

After wrapping up the ongoing Hyderabad schedule, director Adhik Ravichandran and his team are reportedly planning to shoot the pending portions in Chennai and Japan. As per the reports, the Ajith Kumar starrer is expected to have a short schedule of 10 days in Japan. The makers have already confirmed that Good Bad Ugly will be getting released for Pongal 2025.
