Ajay Devgn’s Shaitaan has released in theatres and is already receiving a lot of love for its content. It is no doubt that the makers of the film are now in high demand. This especially holds true for the writer, Aamil Keeyan Khan. However, he might not be able to work with either of the Khans aka Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan or Aamir Khan for one particular reason. Aamil revealed the reason during his recent interview.
What he said
Aamil was talking to Pinkvilla on the call when he said that he cannot imagine working with either of the Khans on a project. The reason? Neither of them has explored the horror genre in their five-decade long career. The three Khans each have a unique genre they excel in. While SRK is tagged as the romantic hero, Salman is known for his action and Aamir for drama. Aamil, however, feels Aamir has experimented with different genres. Nonetheless, in order to do a horror film, he feels that the audience should be ready to see them in the genre and they need to be really invested in the genre.
Why Aamil could be wrong
The three Khans have in fact experimented in the horror genre in their own ways. SRK was a part of Bhootnath, Kaal (like Ajay) and Paheli. In fact, he introduced the genre of realistic horror with his movies Darr and Baazigar. Salman, on the other hand, is the face of Suryavanshi, which was a romantic fantasy horror. Aamir also experimented in the genre through Talaash and the film was well-received too. Thus, the Khans could work in the horror genre, if they are open to experimenting in it.
About Shaitaan

Ajay plays the husband/father, Jyothika the wife/mother, Janki the possessed daughter and Madhavan the tantrik who does black magic on Janki’s character.
