Directed and produced by Ajay Devgn himself, the action-thriller film is slated to have a theatrical release on March 30.

Bholaa starring Ajay Devgn is the highly anticipated release this month. Directed by the Bollywood star himself, the action-thriller movie is a Hindi remake of the 2019 Karthi-starrer Tamil film Kaithi. Earlier, the makers dropped many teasers and promo videos to get the fans elated, while now they have unveiled the trailer release date of the movie.
To reveal the trailer release date of Bholaa, Devgn dropped a new motion poster on social media. The Golmaal actor took to his official Instagram handle and released the latest montage which features him in a rugged avatar with a tagline written all over him that defines his chracter in the film - "In a world gone mad, one man stands alone."
Devgn's latest IG post reads, "Bholaa Madness Begins! #BholaaTrailer out in 4 days. #BholaaIn3D #BholaaOn30thMarch (sic)."

The film has been extensively shot in the picturesque and unique locations in different parts of the country including cities like Mumbai, Hyderabad and Varanasi.
In April, 2022, Devgn announced Bholaa in a Twitter post and also unveiled that it is the official remake of the Tamil superhit, Kaithi. The actor also shared that his film will be directed by Dharmendra Sharma, however, later he decided to direct by himself.

The story is by Lokesh Kanagaraj, who directed Kaithi, while the screenplay for Bholla is done by Aamil Keeyan Khan, Ankush Singh, Sandeep Kewlani and Shriidhar Dubey.
Along with Devgn, the production of this high-octane flick is done by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, S. R. Prakashbabu, S. R. Prabhu and Reliance Entertainment, while it also stars Tabu in lead role with Sanjay Mishra, Deepak Dobriyal, Gajraj Rao, Vineet Kumar, Makarand Deshpande in key characters.
Bholaa, which also has Yuri Suri and Raai Laxmi, alongwith Amala Paul and Abhishek Bachchan in special appearances, is set to release in theatres on March 30.
