Ajay Devgn and Vikas Bahl join hands for a supernatural thriller

After having done films of a ‘offbeat genre’ like horror / supernatural like ‘Bhoot’ (by Ram Gopal Varma) and Kaal (which happened to be a Karan Johar Production), he is now all set to explore the same space again. This time round, Ajay Devgn is now teaming up with film maker Vikas Bahl. This will be the first time when the actor and the film maker are coming together for a film. The film has been untitled so far.

This supernatural thriller film will be produced by Ajay Devgn, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak under Ajay Devgn Ffilm and Panorama Studios. The film will go on floors in June and will be extensively shot in Mumbai, Mussoorie and London. The said film is currently in the pre-production stage. The film’s makers will be unraveling more information about the film in the near future.

As per a report in ETimes, the said film has been reported as a remake of the Gujarati family-entertainer 'Vash'. This film was released in 2023. And as far as the female lead of the film is concerned, it's being reported that the film’s makers (Vikas Bahl, Ajay Devgn and Kumar Mangat) have decided upon a few names (read ‘shortlisted’), but the final name is yet to be decided.

As far the Gujarati film ‘Vash’ is concerned, the film starred Janki Bodiwala, Hitu Kanodia, Niilam Paanchal, Aaryab Sanghvi and Hiten Kumar in the prominent roles. The film had been written by Krishnadev Yagnik, who, incidentally, also happens to be the writer of the film. The film was produced by KS Entertainment, Patel Processing Studios and Ananta Business Corp in collaboration with A Big Box Series Production. The film ‘Vash’ was distributed by Panorama Studios. Even the film’s poster was extremely intriguing and scary, which shows a girl with scissors inserted in her ear.
