Divorce rumors between Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan continue to make headlines. The speculations took another turn when the actress's name was displayed without Bachchan at an event in Dubai. Before this, Aishwarya's sister-in-law Shrima was trolled for receiving flowers from Shweta Bachchan amid the divorce rumors. Now, Shrima has shared a long post addressing trolls who bashed her and also stated that she never used anyone's name to establish her career.

On November 28, Shrima Rai took to her Instagram handle and shared a long note. Indirectly addressing the matter of thanking Shweta Bachchan for the flowers, she wrote, "Facts. My birthday was November 21 and as usual flowers were sent. I thanked everyone with a shout out."
She further added that before she became a blogger/ content creator, she was a banker in Wealth Management for several years and has also been a Gladrags Mrs. India Globe 2009. Post 2017, she transitioned into blogging.
Addressing trolls claiming she got fame through Aishwarya, Shrima shared, "I have NEVER tried to open any business with anyone's name. I am clarifying things because these are facts. I have built an independent career as a content creator for years on my own and as a woman I find it in poor taste of anyone to try to tear that fact down."
Shrima Rai faces backlash for not sharing pictures with Aishwarya Rai or Aaradhya Bachchan
Digging out an old post in which Shrima threw shade at Aishwarya on Reddit, a fan of the actress criticized her for not posting a picture with her.
A person commented on an Instagram post, seemingly of Shrima, "Not even a single pic she shares of Aishwarya or Aaradhya." Shrima replied, "You can head over to her page to find all the images of her, and there you will find solely shots of them and not a single one of us. That should satisfy you (zany face emoji)."

On the work front, Aishwarya was last seen in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan: II, She hasn’t announced any new project yet.
Meanwhile, Abhishek Bachchan was recently seen in Shoojit Sircar’s I Want To Talk. He was praised for his performance. The actor will be next seen in Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 5. He also has Shah Rukh Khan’s King in the pipeline. Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, the film also stars Suhana Khan.
