Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan heading for a divorce? – Here is what we know

Looks like all is not well for the reputed Bachchan family! We know that famous megastar Amitabh Bachchan recently unfollowed his daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan on Instagram. While the reason behind this development is not established yet, fresh reports suggest that famous Bollywood celebrity couple Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan have parted ways. The couple is likely headed for a divorce and would be seeking joint custody of their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan heading for a divorce?

According to reports published on Zoom TV and Times Now, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan have separated from each other. Not only this, but Aishwarya has moved out of the Bachchan home in Mumbai.

Further, Jaya Bachchan (Abhishek’s mother) has broken ties with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. “Jaya even refuses to acknowledge the presence of Aishwarya,” sources told Zoom TV.

However, it is not confirmed whether the couple would be seeking joint custody of their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan. “It is for their child that Abhishek and Aishwarya are still together. They have been having problems for years. Now, matters have come to a head,” sources told Times Now.

This development comes just 10 days after The Archies premiere was held in Mumbai. The entire Bachchan family arrived together on the red carpet to cheer for Agastya Nanda’s debut in Bollywood. Agastya, for the unfamiliar, is the grandson of Amitabh Bachchan.

Observably on the red carpet, Aaradhya held her mother Aishwarya’s hand tightly as paps photographed the family. Abhishek maintained a sweet distance from Aishwarya and Aaradhya in the family photograph.

Well, only time will tell where the truth lies.

Notably, Aishwarya and Abhishek have been married to each other since 2007.
