The divorce rumours of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan have been doing the rounds for quite some time now. However, the couple remained silent about addressing the reports. Amid this, Aishwarya and Abhishek delighted fans as they attended a party together in Mumbai on Thursday (December 6).

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan attended a party together, silencing rumours of a tiff and an impending divorce. The couple looked happy and also took selfies together. The couple was accompanied by the actress' mother Brinda Rai, and producer Anu Ranjan at the event.

Film producer Anu Ranjan shared their pictures on social media and wrote, "So much love warmth". 

In the picture, Aishwarya and Abhishek were seen smiling as they posed for photographs. Actor Ayesha Jhulka shared more pictures from the party. For the event, Aishwarya opted for a stunning traditional black outfit, while Abhishek kept it cool in a tailored black suit.

In an interview with The Hindu, Abhishek spoke about Aishwarya being a responsible and sacrificing mother. Expressing his gratitude to his wife, the actor thanked Aishwarya for looking after their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan when he's out for work.

"Even in my household, I'm very lucky I get to go out and make the movies. But I know that Aishwarya is at home with Aaradhya, and I thank her immensely for that. But I don't think the children think of it that way. They don't look upon you in third person. They look upon you in the first – you're the parent, the father or the mother," said Abhishek.

Aishwarya and Abhishek have been married for over 17 years, and are parents to daughter Aaradhya.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Aishwarya recently returned to work. Celebrity make-up artist Adrian Jacobs took to social media and shared a picture with the actress and wrote, "A lovely day at work @aishwaryaraibachchan_arb."

On the other hand, Abhishek was recently seen in Shoojit Sircar's I Want To Talk. The film received positive reviews and his acting was praised as well.
