Mark Watney's experience is told in The Martian. His crew abandons him on Mars after a storm, assuming he is dead. Mark is barely able to keep himself alive due to a lack of resources. Ridley Scott helms The Martian, which has an A-list ensemble including Matt Damon and Chiwetel Ejiofor.

The Asian film that won the Academy Award takes audiences on a journey in which reality is unravelled by a rip in other dimensions, and an unlikeable hero must use her newfound abilities to battle odd and perplexing threats from the multiverse while the destiny of the planet hangs in the balance. The film, which Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert directed, stars Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan, and Jamie Lee Curtis, among others.

In Dune, we follow the story of Paul Atreides, a young man of extraordinary intelligence and talent who is thrust into a destiny greater than he can fathom and who must venture to the most deadly planet in the universe to secure the survival of his family and people. Only those who can overcome their own fears will be able to survive as evil powers battle over the planet's limited supply of the most valuable resource. Denis Villeneuve directed the movie, which features Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya.
