Ahead of Kushi's OTT release, Vijay Deverakonda chills in a tub filled with ice

There is no denying the fact that Vijay Deverakonda has a massive fan following. He made his Hindi debut with the film Liger which was produced by Karan Johar. But sadly, the film ended as a massive flop and brought huge losses to the makers. 

To make a comeback, Vijay chose a safe romantic drama in the form of Kushi. The film also had Samantha Ruth Prabhu as the female lead and Shiva Nirvana was the director. Pushpa fame, Mythri Movie Makers produced this film on a massive scale.

We at OTTplay have already reported that the digital rights of the film have been bagged by Netflix. The streaming giant has spent a whopping Rs 30 crores on the digital rights of this film which will stream on October 1, 2023, which is exactly a month after its theatrical release. The makers are hopeful that the film will do well on the small screen as well.

Ahead of the film's release, Vijay Deverakonda was seen chilling in a tub filled with ice. Vijay is seen in a very relaxed manner as he is taking the ice bath treatment which has become quite popular with the movie stars these days. 

Vijay is also shooting for one of his action films in the direction of Gautam Tinnanuri and he plays a cop for the first time in his career. Vijay was also in the news as he donated Rs 1 lakh each to 100 families from his earnings of Kushi.

Kushi created a solid buzz for itself thanks to the super hit album composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab. Kushi was released on September 1, 2023, with a bang and also made Rs 70 crore gross. But later the occupancy came down a bit in the second week as Kushi faced heavy competition from Jawan and Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty which were released on the following week of September 7, 2023.
