Ahead of Kaki 2898 AD's OTT release, here's how much the Prabhas film made in Telugu states

Kaki 2898 AD is one of the biggest hits in Indian cinema and showcased the power of Telugu cinema to the world. The film is set to stream on Netflix and Amazon Prime on August 23, 2024. There is a solid buzz for this film, which made just over Rs 1100 crore worldwide and is still playing in many theatres across the globe.

The theatrical run in the Telugu states is almost done, and we have a detailed update on the film's box office collection in those states. As per the latest trade update, Kalki 2898 AD has made a whopping Rs 287 crore gross in those states. That means the film's total share is Rs 182 crore.

In Telangana itself, Kalki made Rs 90 crore, and in the state of AP, the film made Rs 92 crore in shares. This shows what kind of a smash hit Kalki turned out to be. In the state of Karnataka, Kalki made Rs 36 crore. These numbers are combined from both the Telugu and Kannada languages.

Kalki 2898 AD worldwide collections

The overseas Kalki made big money as it registered a shocking Rs 118 crore share, the highest after Baahubali 2. Nag Ashwin is being hailed as the next big thing in Indian cinema, and the wait is now on for the sequel, which will be out in the last half of 2025.

As the OTT release date draws near, the buzz for the film is at an all-time high. Those who missed the movie in theaters can watch it in Hindi on Netflix. For the other southern languages, you can stream Kalki 2898 AD on Amazon Prime Video.
