Ahead of his OTT debut, JD Chakravarthy talks about the linkup rumors with co-star Vishnu Priya

Actor JD Chakravarthy needs no introduction as he is known for his film Shiva and Satya with Ram Gopal Varma. Well, JD is now making his OTT debut with his new show Dayaa that is being directed by Pavan Sadhineni, the talented young director. The series will be out soon on Hotstar and the makers have started the promotions already.

The show also stars noted anchor Vishu Priya in a key role and ever since she revealed in an interview that she has a crush on JD and is extremely fond of her, so much was being said about their relationship. Now that they acted together in the web series, the rumors continued and added that JD and Vishnu Priya will soon tie the knot.

Not many know that JD has already divorced his first wife Anukriti a few years back and is now single. When asked about the same, JD slammed the rumors and said he is not marrying anyone and is happy being single. The noted actor also added that he and Vishnu Priya had a lovely time working on the series and there is nothing much more to it.

Vishnu Priya is also single and is one of the popular anchors in Telugu. She is now doing films and has taken her acting career seriously. On the other hand, JD will be seen in an out and out action avatar. 

The show’s USP is believed to be its strong writing, layered characterisation and its technical appeal. For now, the 53 year old actor is busy with the shooting of his upcoming projects.
