On International Firefighters Day (May 4), Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's home banner, Excel Entertainment, revealed a special poster for their forthcoming film, Agni. Since then, the film has been garnering excitement and anticipation among fans. Finally, today, November 14, the makers revealed that the film will be released directly on an OTT platform. The cast features Pratik Gandhi, Divyenndu, Jitendra Joshi, Sai Tamhankar, Saiyami Kher, Udit Arora, and Kabir Shah.

On November 14, Amazon Prime Video shared a captivating trailer of Agni on their Instagram account. Sharing the clip, they announced that the film will be released on that OTT platform on December 6.
The trailer of Agni shows Pratik Gandhi, Divyenndu, and Saiyami Kher along with the other firefighters and they go to a hotel that has caught fire very badly. The trailer also shows how they do not fear fire as they are the worshippers of the Fire God. By the trailer, the film promises to explore the courage, honor, and sacrifice of a firefighter with action-paced sequences.

Vitthal (Pratik Gandhi) and his brother-in-law, Samit (Divyenndu), a hotshot policeman, begrudgingly join forces to unravel the escalating crisis. Amid the flames, the film beautifully explores Vitthal's emotional journey from the world around him and from within his own family to his fight for honor - ultimately showcasing the indomitable spirit of those who risk everything to protect others.
Directed by Rahul Dholakia, Agni will revolve around the lives of firefighters. As per an earlier Mid-Day report, the film was shot across Mumbai and Delhi.
Speaking about Agni, Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani shared in a statement, “We are incredibly proud to present a film that not only celebrates the unwavering courage of firefighters but also highlights the profound collaboration between those who serve and protect our communities. The film goes much beyond action, exploring the bonds and conflicts that emerge when lives are on the line."
They also added that Agni has been masterfully helmed by the genius Rahul Dholakia and their prime stars Pratik and Divyenndu, who will surely leave the audiences worldwide intrigued.
