Aghathiyaa, the recently released Tamil film starring actor Jiiva in the lead role, is now available for streaming. The film made its OTT debut on SunNXT, and you can watch the horror fantasy drama with your OTTplay Premium subscription at discounted prices.

We had earlier reported that Aghathiyaa’s post-theatrical streaming rights have been bagged by SunNXT. It has now made its streaming debut, and with an OTTplay Premium subscription, you can watch the film right now.
Directed by lyricist Pa Vijay in his third directorial, Aghathiyaa is a horror fantasy drama which stars Jiiva in the lead role. He plays dual roles alongside Arjun Sarja and Raashii Khanna. The narrative follows a young art director and his fiancée who convert a film set they built into a scare house and make a business out of it. However, the place is already burdened with past secrets and spirits, which come to the fore as they begin to live inside the palace.
Production banner Vels Film International has produced the film with Yuvan Shankar Raja scoring the music. Actors Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Reddin Kingsley, and others are also part of the film. It is produced by Dr Ishari K Ganesh and Aneesh Arjun Dev. The technical crew of Aghathiyaa includes Dipak Kumar Padhy as the cinematographer, and San Lokesh handles editing. P Shanmugan is the art director. Besides directing the film, Pa Vijay has also served as the lyricist. Aghathiyaa opened to mixed reviews upon its release. However, thanks to its graphic-loaded content, children can watch it for its visual spectacle.

Tamil cinema will be seeing multiple releases on streaming platforms this week. Besides Aghathiyaa, two web series will be premiering on Friday. One is Seruppugal Jaakirathai on OTTplay Premium and ZEE5. The comedy action series stars Singampuli. Another web series, Om Kali Jai Kali, starring Vemal, will debut on JioHotstar.
