Agent: We did a blunder starting the project without a bound script, says producer Anil Sunkara

Agent has become this colossal flop at the box office. The box office numbers are shockingly low and no one is even daring to watch the film on the big screen. The collections are so low that the film has been removed from so many screens already. The entire team has been silent ever since the film was released.

But now, producer Anil Sunkara in a lengthy tweet accepts the failure and reveals the mistake behind the project. He says "We have to take the entire blame for Agent. Though we know it's an uphill task, we thought of conquering but failed to do so as & innumerable issues including covid followed."

Adding further he says "We don't want to give any excuses but learn from this costly mistake and see how we can turn it around to make sure, we will never repeat the mistakes. Our sincere apologies to all those who put trust in us. We will make up for the losses with dedicated planning & hardwork in our future projects.

Anil Sunkara put eighty crores on this film without even bothering to assess the market of Akhil. Sakshi Vaidya played the female lead in this film which also had Mammootty in a key role. Even he was paid a big amount and the film was shot on a massive scale. The film was released with a low buzz and bombed at the box office.
