Agent OTT release: The Akhil, Mammootty starrer to be out on this date

Akhil had pinned a lot of hopes on Agent and gave two and half years of his life. But sadly, the film has not taken off the way he wanted to as word of mouth is bad for the film. The occupancy is also going down with each passing day but as it is the long weekend, the film is seeing some collections in the A centers of Telugu states.

We at OTTplay had already reported that Sony Liv has bought the digital rights to the film for a fancy price. Now, the news is that as the film has received bad talk, the makers are in plans to advance the OTT release of the film. The word is that Agent will be out either on the 26th or 27th of May. The dates of release are being looked at as of now.

Anil Sunkara has produced this film and he pumped a lot of money into the making. The film also went over budget after a time and the makers also re-shot for a few days. The makers will lose big money with Agent which was made on a stylish note by Surender Reddy. He also co-produced the film along with Anil Sunkara.

Agent also had Dino Morea in a key role. Malayalam star Mammootty played a RAW chief in this film which was high on action. Akhil made a terrific transformation for this film and showcased his six-pack look for his fans. Apart from his sincere performance, the film was panned by the audience for its lack of drama and emotions.
