Agent OTT release: Akhil Akkineni locks a crazy title for his next-Exclusive

Akhil Akkineni is one of the brightest talents in Telugu cinema. But for some reason or the other, he is not scoring a proper hit under his belt. His new film, Agent has become a huge flop at the box office. But this has not stopped Akhil from signing his next film. We at OTTplay had already revealed that Akhil will be doing a project in the UV Creations banner and a newcomer will direct it.

Well, the news now is that a young director named Anil Kumar will be helming this film on a lavish scale. The makers have also registered a title called Dheera with the film chamber as per the news. The film will be yet another romantic action drama and will have a popular heroine playing the main lead. Akhil will be seen in a drastic new look in this film.

On the other hand, the Agent has left the makers in a horrible situation. Producer Anil Sunkara will lose over 25 crores in money. He spent 80 crores on the film without even gauging the market of Akhil. Surender Reddy had directed this film which had Sakshi Vaidya as the heroine. A lot of money went into the remunerations of Agent as stars like Mammootty were paid a bomb.

Meanwhile, Akhil is maintaining a low-profile post the release of Agent, and UV Creations is busy with the promotions of their new film Miss Shetty and Mr Polishetty which has Naveen Polishetty and Anushka Shetty in lead roles. We need to see what kind of a film they have set for Akhil and will the young hero make a comeback or not.
