After Vijay, Leo director Lokesh Kanagaraj hopes to work with Ajith Kumar soon

Filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj is now busy with the promotions of his upcoming movie Leo, which stars Thalapathy Vijay in the lead role. And he has been addressing many questions about Leo, his next project with Superstar Rajinikanth, which has been titled Thalaivar 171 and his other future projects. 

While Lokesh seems to have his work cut for him for the next few years, he also seems to have a bucket list when it comes to the actors from the Indian film industry he hopes to collaborate with. At the top of his list is Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar.

In a recent interview, Lokesh revealed that he harbours the desire to work with Ajith in future. "I want to work with all actors as we grew up watching their movies. Now, I am very excited to work with Rajini sir in my next. In the same way, I will also look forward to an opportunity to work with Ajith sir," Lokesh said when asked about his interest in casting other superstars in the LUC, which is sort of Lokesh's cinematic universe.

Leo set for big release

In the meantime, Lokesh is now all focused on the impending release of Leo. 

The movie went on the floors in October 2022 and the regular shooting began in Kashmir earlier this year. After months of non-stop shooting, the movie is now all set to grace the screens worldwide starting October 19. 

Bankrolled by Seven Screen Studio, Leo is set to take a massive opening worldwide. According to the producers, the movie is likely to release as many as 30,000 screens worldwide, making it the biggest-ever release of an Indian movie.

Besides Vijay, Leo also stars Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Priya Anand, Mysskin, and Gautham Menon.
