Choreographer, actor and director Raghava Lawrence, who is an ardent fan of Superstar Rajinikanth, today, met the actor at his residence in Chennai on the occasion of his birthday. It's customary for the actor to seek the blessings of the Superstar as he considers him his guru. The actor shared a picture of him hugging the Jailer actor and wrote, "I’m extremely happy to take blessings from Thalaivar and Guru on my birthday. Every year I decide to do some service, This year I’m planning to do #Annadhanam as I know the value of hunger. I will visit places personally and distribute food whenever I can. I need your blessings (sic)!"
Raghava is currently busy with Chandramukhi 2, which is a sequel to Rajinikanth's Chandramukhi (a remake of Fazil's Malayalam film Manichitrathazhu). Lawrence had sought the blessings of the Superstar before he began the shoot. He had then written, "Hi friends and fans, Today Chandramukhi 2 shooting begins in Mysore with my Thalaivar and guru’s @rajinikanth blessings! I need all your wishes! #Chandramukhi2 (sic)." P Vasu, who had directed Chandramukhi, will also be helming this one.
Earlier, Kantara star Rishab Shetty, too had met Rajinikanth at his residence. He shared a series of pictures after the meeting and had written in Kannada on his social media handle, "If you praise us once, it is equal to praising us 100 times. Rajinikanth sir, we will be forever grateful to you for watching our film Kantara and praising it (sic)."
After watching the film, Rajinikanth had written on his social media handle, "The unknown is more than the known" no one could have said this better in cinema than Hombale films. Kantara you gave me goosebumps. Rishab hats off to you as a writer, director and actor. Congrats to the whole cast and crew of this masterpiece in Indian cinema."
On the work front, the Superstar is currently filming for Nelson Dilipkumar's action entertainer Jailer.
