Dharmendra, a seasoned actor who is receiving plaudits for his performance in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, will play the grandpa to another well-known actor. He portrayed Rocky Randhawa's (played by Ranveer Singh) grandfather in Karan Johar's film, and viewers adored him. He will now play Shahid Kapoor's grandfather in his upcoming film opposite Kriti Sanon, according to a report in The Times of India.
Shahid, Dharmendra, and veteran actor Rakesh Bedi will all be appearing in the upcoming film by Laxman Utekar. Rakesh Bedi was quoted as saying by India Today, "I play Shahid Kapoor's father and Dharamji plays my father. It is Laxman Utekar's film and produced by Maddock Films, the makers of Zara Hatke Zara Bachke."
Known for his work in both movies and television, Rakesh Bedi most recently appeared in Zara Hatke Bachke as Sara Ali Khan's father.
Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon play the key parts in the next Laxman Utekar film, which has not yet been given a title. In the movie, Shahid will play a robotics specialist, while Sanon will play a robot, according to sources. Jio Studios and Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films are producing the movie. This much anticipated romance drama, written and directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, is currently in production.
