Yesterday, we had carried a news report about Aanand L Rai and Dhanush all set to reunite for a film, which is almost 9 years after they had done ‘Atrangi Re’ (which also starred Sara Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar). Today, the news is confirmed that Aanand L Rai and Dhanush are uniting for a film. The title of the film is ‘Tere Ishk Mein’. The timing just could not have been more apt. While on one hand, Aanand L Rai’s directed Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor starrer ‘Raanjhanaa’ celebrates its tenth anniversary, on the other hand, the film maker announced ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ alongwith Dhanush.
Taking to social media, Aanand L Rai posted the grand announcement stating, “Kuch kahaniyan kisi purane dost jaisi mil jaati hain! Jo haath nahin milaati, seedhe aake gale lag jaati hain… 10 saal pehle ek aisi hi kahani mili thi humein... Kundan ki kahani. Dost tha mera, par jee naa saka... uska mood nahi tha jeena ka! Ab 10 saal baad phir ek kissa aaya hai; Kundan aur ye ladka ek se hi hain, bus iska mood duniya phoonk dene ka hai! Sirf aapke liye…’Tere Ishk Mein”. In a media statement, the film maker said, "There couldn't be a more perfect day to unveil our next venture, 'Tere Ishk Mein,' with Dhanush. 'Raanjhanaa' holds a special place in my heart, and the love and adoration it continues to receive from fans worldwide is truly heartwarming."
Besides Dhanush, the rest of the cast of ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ is still being kept under the wraps. Looking back, it only seems like yesterday when the southern actor Dhanush made his debut in Bollywood with the Aanand L Rai’s film ‘Raanjhanaa’. The film starred Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor in the main lead. Besides them, the film also saw the presence of Abhay Deol, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and Swara Bhaskar in important roles.
As for the film maker Aanand L Rai, besides ‘Tere Ishk Mein’, his production company ‘Color Yellow Productions’ also has other exciting projects lined up. These projects include ‘Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba’ with Taapsee Pannu in the leading role. She had even shared the first look of the film with the caption ‘Ek naye sheher mein, phir ek baar…tehelka machaane aa rahi hai, humari Hasseen Dillruba!’. Besides ‘Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba’, there is also ‘Jhimma 2’, which happens to be a sequel to the hit Marathi film ‘Jhimma’. The sequel will be directed by Hemant Dhome. The film ‘Jhimma 2' is being written by Irawati Karnik and produced by Aanand L. Rai and Kshitee Jog. The film is being co-produced by Viraj Gawas, Urfi Kazmi and Ajinkya Dhamal.
