After Lollipop, Sudhakar Komakula to star in a new music video titled Memories

As an actor, it’s quite important that one finds different avenues to reach out to audiences beyond the big-screen. The digital content explosion presents a wide array of opportunities for artistes to express themselves and it’s important that one makes hay while the sun shines. Life is Beautiful star Sudhakar Komakula, who starred in Narayana & Co recently, will now be seen in a music video.

Titled Memories, this is the second such music video in Sudhakar’s career. The song has been entirely filmed in San Francisco, USA and was conceptualised and directed by Anvesh Bashyam. The makers call it a ‘unique blend’ of 2D animation and real world and it’ll release in five languages - Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada. The video is produced by Sukha Media, Red Cedar Entertainment.

The pre-look of the video was launched today. In the poster, Sudhakar Komakula is all smiles, wearing a cool tee and a denim overcoat and is seen holding a drone camera. The crew part of the video comprises Brian Durkee, Arun C, Phaneendra Mylavarapu, Srikanth R Patnaik, Sharad Gumaste. The title design with huge skyscrapers, cars pique your curiosity.

Sudhakar’s earlier indie music video, Lollipop, directed by Vinay Shanmukh, where he shared screenspace with 30 Weds 21 fame Ananya Sharma, Jai Jasti, Meghana Sunil revolving around two childhood sweethearts, was a raging success in multiple languages. Sid Sriram had crooned for the Telugu version which had lyrics by Suresh Banisetti and whose music was composed by Vijai Bulganin.

Some of the actor’s other popular films include Nuvvu Thopu Raa, Ravi Teja starrer Krack and Kartikeya’s spy comedy Raja Vikramarka. He’d also jointly produced Narayana & Co in collaboration with Papisetty Brothers that released on June 30. The film is gearing up for its OTT premiere shortly.
