Mohanlal adds a Range Rover to his collection, Dulquer Salmaan replaces his with a Maybach SUV

Mohanlal is the latest addition to the list of celebs who own a Range Rover SUV in the Malayalam film industry. The list, which also includes Prithviraj Sukumaran, Tovino Thomas, Dulquer Salmaan and Manju Warrier, keeps getting longer and Mohanlal’s luxury vehicle – Range Rover Autobiography – is the latest in the stable.

The Malayalam superstar had reportedly booked the new model three months ago and had collected the SUV along with his wife Suchitra in Kochi. The silver model, which costs about Rs 3.5 crore, is the latest car in Mohanlal’s collection that also includes a Toyota Vellfire, Toyota Land Cruiser and Mercedes Benz GL350.

Tovino Thomas was the latest to purchase a Range Rover in the Malayalam film industry. The Ajayante Randam Moshanam and Neelavelicham star brought home the country’s first 2023 Range Rover Sport SUV, which costs about Rs 1.8 crore.

Incidentally, Dulquer Salmaan, who had purchased a Range Rover Autobiography back in 2020, recently added a Mercedes Maybach GLS600 to his premium car collection. The luxury SUV, which costs close to Rs 3 crore, is said to be replacing the Range Rover in the famous 369 garage.

Meanwhile, Mammootty added a Land Rover Defender last year to his collection and the vehicle has been his go-to choice for long drives and shoots. The superstar had even driven the vehicle on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway during the recent shoot of his movie Kannur Squad, which had a short schedule in Pune.

The superstar had also suggested getting a Land Rover with a 3.0L diesel engine over the 2.0L model to Asif Ali, when the latter had enquired to him about the vehicle. Asif also purchased a Land Rover Defender soon after Mammootty gave a glowing feedback about his experience driving the vehicle, which is priced at Rs 1.4 crore (ex-showroom).
